The CLEAN GULF 2016 Call for Presentations is now closed.
The CLEAN GULF 2016 Conference Management and Program Committee have issued an industry-wide call for participation. The conference covers all aspects of the oil and hazmat spill, marine salvage and fire, port and maritime security, prevention and response markets. Based on support and demand we will continue focus on inland issues. The CLEAN GULF 2016 program is developed by a government/industry-based committee of more than 60 industry professionals. All abstracts are reviewed for content and relevance by the committee and are selected by consensus. All offers considered sales pitches will be rejected.
All submissions must:
- Be objective and include practical and impartial information. They must not be commercial in nature or product specific
- Identify primary and contributing authors. Abstracts authored or co-authored by users/operators will receive favorable consideration
- Abstracts/posters involving actual implementations and/or case studies will receive favorable consideration
NOTE: The goal of the presentations are to provide practical, pertinent, and timely content delivered with a focus on engaging with the attendee to participate and ask questions. Additionally you are asked to provide "learning objectives" which further helps the committee identify submissions that fit these criteria as opposed to overwhelming people with data. Accepted speakers in the breakout sessions receive complimentary registration to the conference. Notifications regarding acceptance into the program will be emailed by Friday, May 13, 2016.
New this year:
We are accepting poster submissions through the website as well. Please DO NOT submit the same abstract to multiple sessions - they are either intended to be a poster or a presentation at this stage of submission. The same rules apply to posters that apply to presentation submissions. They must not be commercial in nature or product specific. Accepted poster presenters receive a heavily discounted registration rate.
